Overview:
Invariably, when someone goes to install a set of aftermarket wheels on their Merkur, it doesn't take long
before they realize that the wheels studs are SHORT! Often, combining aftermarket wheels with stock wheel
studs leads to an unsafe condition whereby the lug nut only has 5 or less threads engaged with the wheel
stud. The solution is to install this set of ARP wheel studs, which are a whopping 2.5" long. The knurl
dimensions (0.509" diameter x 0.315" length) are a perfect fit for the Merkur. Not only are these wheel
studs a great solution to our short wheel stud problem, they're incredibly strong to boot. These
4130 chromemoly steel studs are heat-treated and have a 190,000 psi tensile strength rating. Generally,
these studs are only available in 5-packs, which is waste for XR4Ti owners with a stock 4-bolt pattern.
